LS Mtron (CEO Shin Chai-ho), an LS Group company specializing in industrial machinery and advanced components, announced on the 12th the official opening of the Global Tech Center, a dedicated facility for experiencing customized injection molding solutions.

The Global Tech Center is designed as a comprehensive technical hub. Customers who operate injection molding factories can simulate real-world production environments and experience the entire injection molding lifecycle firsthand.

Visitors to the center can collaborate with expert resident engineers to run simulations optimized for their specific factory layouts and process flows. This allows customers to verify and optimize injection molding machine models and peripheral equipment configurations in advance, which can minimize initial trial and error during equipment installation and significantly boost productivity.

A key highlight of the Global Tech Center is its ability to directly test and verify microcellular foaming technology, an eco-friendly lightweighting method developed independently by LS Mtron. This proprietary technology reduces product weight while maintaining durability. The center offers a one-stop service where customers can produce prototypes and receive detailed technical consultations on implementing this technology into their mass production lines.
