LS Mtron (CEO Shin Chai-ho), the industrial machinery and advanced components specialist of the LS Group, announced on the 14th that its MT9 tractor won the Silver Award (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources Award) at the Good Design Awards.

LS Mtron won the Good Design Award both last year and this year, making it the only agricultural machinery company to win the award two years in a row. Last year, LS Mtron received the Grand Prize (Presidential Award) for its MT2 model, and it has won a total of eight awards for the designs of its Plus Series and MT4 Series tractors, among others.

The award-winning MT9 is Korea's highest-horsepower tractor and a strategic product aimed at the large-scale, corporate, and high-tech trends in the agricultural tractor market. The MT9's design emphasizes luxury on top of dynamism and grandeur, completing LS Mtron's unique family-look styling and solidifying its brand identity. Furthermore, it is designed with various advanced specifications and autonomous operation features to ensure optimal convenience, and is based on ergonomic data to provide easy maneuverability and comfortable space.

Park Seong-hee, the manager at LS Mtron's Tractor Business Division who led the MT9 design, stated, "We aimed for a design that maximizes both functionality and user experience to reflect the diverse demands of the agricultural field."

Shin Chai-ho, CEO of LS Mtron, commented, "It is very meaningful to win the Good Design Award for two consecutive years. We will continue to lead the global agricultural machinery market with products that possess both technological prowess and design."
